=========================================================================
Sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet,
Thou art the best taste O Life !!
Past, present and future combined,
Thou art the greatest history O Life !!
Sometimes grave, sometimes funny,
Thou art the greatest philosopher O Life,
One moment you’re the trickiest trail,
And next moment baby’s innocent smile O Life !!
Sometimes gray, sometimes colorful,
Thou art the greatest artist O Life,
Morning, noon and night together,
Are your canvas of colors O Life !!
Through the ages in sands of time,
You’ve evolved beautifully O Life,
I pause for a moment and try to catch you,
You float away like a butterfly O Life !!
You come to me in form of people,
Thou art the greatest actor O Life,
You make me cry, you make me laugh,
Thou art the best mate O Life !!
Have you ever wondered that though each single day is new, we tend to spend most in a similar fashion and feel as if we’re repeating each day’s routine all over again; however, one fine day all of a sudden, we realize that some things are no more around us ….and we can’t touch them..the things which were so close to us. ….once !!”
Just a random thought crossing my mind right now ….Sunday night 12.39 am (Monday morning, actually)
Introducing Srivatsan Varadrajan (whom I lovingly call Dr. Watson). I met Srivatsan in the first semester at my Real Time Systems class on Friday 30th August 2013. A super slim guy with lot of energy and questions (of technical nature all the time, without exceptions 🙂 ). I still remember during the 15 minutes break of that class, his first sentence to me after the introduction was -“I have some questions in linux kernel programming”…. days passed and he’s one of the closest friends of mine and we’re again classmates in one of the courses in this semester.
Srivatsan is super cool guy with incredible flexibility and down to earth personality. He’s an open-hearted honest person and he’s part of my Dallas family.
Now, time for little leg pulling…. Srivatsan is PURE VEGETARIAN (all caps to emphasize that he is pure vegetarian by all means – by food and by thoughts). By vegetarian, I remember an interesting incident – Srivatsan discovered a wholesome buttermilk brand which can be purchased at Braum’s. He advised us to try that and we also started consuming the buttermilk. It’s almost a semester since we’re consuming it. It actually is a delicacy and addictive.
Last week, Srivatsan told me with big disappointment that this buttermilk contains gelatin which is derived from pork. Oops ….
From my old blog ….written on a lazy, rainy Sunday afternoon.

Remember when you helped somebody or made somebody smile in some way last time? You helped somebody to cross the road, you offered seat to a senior citizen or a lady carrying baby in a bus, you got a nice present for your mother, you gave chocolate to that small kid in the neighborhood …… remember that feeling of inner happiness by looking at their smiling faces? It makes us realize that best things in life are small and simple. Real happiness is kindled when you make somebody happy….be it for a moment. Isn’t it? Life is wonderful ….so are people ….Just a thought on Friday evening while taking a break from my assignment 🙂 ….
Introducing Amit(My roomie)
Amit is the Dude aka Muscle man of the family. A happy to go guy with exceptional taste for humor and food. He’s fond of comedy shows and you can often find him laughing loudly with
earphones plugged in his laptop. Here’s is Amit – having delicious rice-chhola (prepared by me …. I get a chance to boast about my culinary skills :p)
Introducing —- Rohit
Rohit, the romantic, chocolaty lover boy of our family. He loves music, travelling and having fun by all means. Rohit burns the midnight oil and you can find him well awake even at 5AM (there’s one good thing in it for me also – I’ve 8:30 am classes on Tue/Thu and if classes get cancelled because of whatever reasons, he’s the person who first comes to know about this and gives me the good news on whatsapp by the time I get up (and I go back to sleep 🙂  !!)
And one more thing …. Rohit HATES Onions.
Introducing —- VishnuÂ
Vishnu is the musician kid (musician -> he plays guitar, kid -> he’s the youngest among us) of our family. He plays electric guitar and though he plays it very well, he avoids the limelight. We’ve not been successful so far to persuade him to play at any function in the university …. so, basically we didn’t get chance to boast of being roomies of a guitarist ….sad, isn’t it?
BTW, Vishnu LOVES Onions :p and Rohit & Vishhu share the room.
Wondering what are those green sticky notes on the wall besides him? Take a
guess……
Okay, let me reveal this for you – each sticky note has name of the company he has applied for the Summer internship….
innovative, right?
And introducing …… Me
Don’t be scared …. There’s more to come ….
